A Castle Adventure

In
1509 in a land in another realm, Ogany being the name of it, a tall castle
stood on top of Delladry Hill with a stretched moat around it. It was
called Delladry
Castle. King Ronald sat on his throne thinking about the end of Ogany, for
in the mountains of Lava, far away, an experiment was being made. Not just
a normal experiment, but one that could blow Ogany to pieces. Zomburűk was
the name of that land and the castle. “I’ll hire someone.” King Ronald said
to himself, “or …. Wait …. Sir Vladex of course …. and Chaos and Humfrey.
Get me Vladex the knight, Chaos the magician and Humfrey the hunchback!” he
shouted at his hunchback servants. |

A few
minutes later three figures stepped in. A man with fair hair and deep blue
eyes, about 6ft 4 inches in height and holding a sword, greeted the king
kindly. “My lord, I am honoured that you have chosen us to help you. When
your servants told us I thought they were joking and hurried to meet you”
“Yes,
thank you, now I need you to help me…”
“Yeah,
yeah, I know. You want us to destroy the experiment!” said Humfrey
interrupting him.
Humfrey was a small, loud little fellow with a croaky voice that sounded
like a toad that had choked on a fly! Chaos however, was quite different He
normally kept to himself but is quite a good friend! With his black cape
and his face hidden beneath a hood of darkness he looked a fierce some
sight, but not really! With Vladex 6ft 4 and fair hair, Humfrey 5ft 6 and
brown hair and Chaos 5ft 10 and a hood, they all set off to Zomburűk, land
of the zombies. Zomburok was the maker of the experiment. |

To
cross the moat, Chaos has to drain out the water, cross over and fill it up
again. Then they got on horses and rode to the nearest shelter, Delladry
forest. Lurking in the forest were creatures called forest spectres. Most
were dead hunters and woodmen, but some were Knights. “Hey, what’s that
sound?” asked Humfrey, shivering. Something crept to the nearest tree.
Suddenly, something jumped out on the three friends! Vladex drew his sword
to repel the terrifying creatures. Chaos swung his cloak and Humfrey
scowled. The creatures fled but others came, not spectres this time, but
that of Zomburok and his army! They had brought the experiment too! It was
a big glass bottle with green liquid inside. Vladex tried to smash it but
Zomburok jumped out of the way. He tried to run but Chaos stepped in his
way and Humfrey fought off the zombies

Ronald heard the commotion and quickly gathered together an army of
hunchback soldiers. They sailed across the moat and charged towards the
forest. It was a battle of terrifying actions. Zomburok tried to run
towards the castle but Vladex took out his bow and shot him on the back. It
didn’t hurt him much but just slowed him down a bit. Then Humfrey jumped
and severed off his head! Chaos caught the experiment, Vladex smashed it
and Chaos made it fly into the moat. Suddenly there was a puff of green
smoke and a rumble. All of the zombies started to melt! The mountain of Lava erupted and totally blew up. Then the castle in Zomburűk started to
fall to pieces and Zomburűk was destroyed.

A
great ceremony was held at Delladry Castle. In the Banqueting hall King Ronald was making a speech. “I, King
Ronald, congratulate three very special people. Vladex the Knight helped by
shooting an arrow at Zomburok and smashing the glass in which was contained
the experiment. Humfrey the Hunchback helped by slicing off Zomburok’s head
and Chaos the Magician caught the experiment. Then Vladex smashed it and
Chaos magically threw it into our own moat, and that was the end of the
experiment!” There was a loud cheer and everything seemed to be more
peaceful again. The Eagles of Delladry cried and the bells rang to tell
everyone in Ogany that it was peaceful again.
