The Floor is Down The floor is now down and a
team of brickies have arrived which means the walls are beginning to
take shape. At last the children can see where their classrooms will
be. Later this week the scaffolding will be erected as the walls get
higher. We are now thinking about internal
furnishings and are being asked to make decisions about the colour of
the walls etc. Life is getting very exciting!

New School Build Now that the piling rig has
gone, the builders have been busy installing new drains which are now in
place. |

New School Build As our ground is unstable,
piles need to be drilled into the soil. These are reinforced with cement and
metal rods. The piling rig is 40 foot high and weighs 40 tons. The
children find it very interesting.
More news next week.

New School Build As you will I’m sure have seen
the builders are moving quite quickly with the ground preparation for the
build. They are currently digging out the area that will be built on. At
the beginning of this week they uncovered an old well. This has needed to
be drained and filled with concrete to allow the preparations to proceed.
We are expecting a 40-ton piling rig to arrive on site by
the middle of next week. I am sure this will interest the children. More
news next week.
